Title: Wiring for all STM32 Discovery boards
Post by: ponyatov on March 15, 2013, 09:03:34 AM
Need help in realizing Wiring for:

What maillists should I use as starting point ?

Where are active repositories (github preferred) with Wiring ARM ports ?

What about RTOS, multitasking and async DMA transfer support in Wiring core spec ?

Ok, repo and links to maillist archive found @ https://github.com/WiringProject/Wiring (https://github.com/WiringProject/Wiring)

Other questions is still active -- semidead forum points on project closing ?

The Wiring Framework is not intended to support all functions for all microcontrollers.  It is intended to ease the comprehension entry-barrier for working with microcontrollers.

With that said, it will be possible (if/when STM32 support is ready) to have complex libraries and additional code support for things like DMA and RTOS functionality.

If you would like to volunteer to help out with the development of the Wiring Framework on the STM32 series, please do!

Hello,

Our implementation of Wiring at this STM32 platforms have been frozen almost for year. (We have no programming capacity to do this in MLAB now, because we are saturated by other projects)

I think that using of some RTOS in Wiring would be great! We are already using ChibiOS (http://www.chibios.org/dokuwiki/doku.php) in our ARM non wiring projects :)
