Title: msp430 support
Post by: dyoung on October 19, 2011, 01:09:04 AM
Sorry for the double post, but I think I might have posted on the wrong area.

How far along is the MSP430 port, and who is doing it?  I'd like to help get that going if noone is working on it.

We're still working on the high level documentation for the Wiring Framework (i.e. the framework specs).  So it's will be a hand-holding experience until we get the docs up.

Antonio from Portugal has volunteered to work on the TI MSP430.  I will see if I can get him to participate on the forum here, so that you two can help each other flesh out the missing pieces.

The LaunchPad MSP430 has a Processing-based Wiring-derived Arduino-like IDE called Energia.

It is based on the Arduino 1.0 dialect.
